Here are his weekly observations and prognostications:

• 5.56mm is disappearing. There’s plenty of green tip available, but everyone wants 55 grain, and there’s none of that out there.
• A good price of green tip is $0.60 per round. I have it for $0.58 per round, which is an increase. At one point we had it for $0.50 per round.
• Ammunition from Eastern Europe will be difficult to get for a while. Many of the countries are sending their ammo to Ukraine.
• Shotgun ammo is still ridiculous to find – any type of shotgun ammo. Some private clubs will sell you four boxes – 100 rounds – but only if you’re a club member and shoot it at their course.
• I can’t find .410 ammo anywhere.
• If it’s not a “mainstream” caliber, no one is making it. Calibers like .32 ACP or .500 Smith & Wesson are impossible to find.
• No one is making .300 Blackout because it needs 5.56 casings and there aren’t enough to go around. This really sucks for those who bought short .300 ARs.
• There is some .300 Blackout being manufactured with factory seconds brass, but be careful. If it didn’t pass a factory inspection the first time, I don’t want to use it in my gun.
