Dear Mitch: It’s time for you to go

For years, I’ve had disdain for Mitch McConnell. He’s a weak leader that does virtually nothing to advance the conservative movement. The only good thing that has come out of his reign: pro-liberty judges and justices that the Senate confirmed during the Trump administration.

But it’s officially time for Mitch McConnell to go. It’s time for a new minority leader.

He sold out those of us that believe in – and fight for – the Second Amendment when he gave John Cornyn the greenlight to negotiate gun control policies with the Democrats.

He sold us out again today when he said he would support the bipartisan deal that was struck.

Mitch, you don’t represent my values when you’re okay with pulling due process from Americans simply because you want to give us a false sense of security.

You don’t represent my values when you’re okay with continually passing gun control laws that are already on the books yet refuse to enforce them.

And you definitely don’t represent my values when you turn law-abiding Americans into criminals because a crazed young man carried out a heinous attack on innocent school children.

You’ve valued those of us that value our Second Amendment rights and we can’t sit idly by while you continue to erode our God-given Constitutional rights.

We are coming for you. We are going to make sure our senators know they better not support you as their leader again or we’ll vote them out too.

Your reign is over. Let this serve as your notice.
